Narration: Half a century has passed since mankind began sending its burgeoning population into space.
Huge artificial cities orbiting the earth have become mankind's second birthplace. There, people bore their children, grew up, and died.
Narration: In the year 0079 of the Universal Century, Side 3, the furthest space colony from the earth, has declared itself the Duchy of Zion and began a war for independence from the Earth Federation.
Narration: After more than a month of battle, both the Duchy of Zeon and the Earth Federation have lost half of their total populations. People were horrified by the deeds they caused.
Narration: Since then, the war has entered a stalemate and 8 months have passed.

Title: Gundam Rises on the Earth!!

Denim: Slender, you remain here.
Slender: Yes, Master Sergeant.
Gene: Master Sergeant, the military facilities are in the upper right block.
Gene: It should be in their work time, but I see only a car moving.
Gene: There's no human activity.
Gene: Hmm? There is! There's a kid!

Flau: Amuro?
Flau: Amuro?
Flau: He hasn't eaten yet! Amuro?
Flau: Just as I thought.
Flau: It's bad for you not to eat your breakfast.
Halo: Hello, Amuro. Hello, Amuro!
Amuro: Halo, you look fine today.
Halo: Thank you, Amuro.
Flau: What are you going to wear, Amuro?
Flau: Amuro!
Amuro: I'll eat it after I finish assembling this computer.
Flau: Haven't you heard the evacuation order?
Amuro: Evacuation order?
Amuro: Is that what these sirens are all about?
Flau: Oh my god, haven't you been listening to the military broadcasts?
Flau: They say we have to evacuate because the warship is entering the port.
Amuro: Why should we have to evacuate?
Flau: Don't ask me why.
Flau: Amuro! We have no time.
Amuro: All right, all right.
Car: Evacuate immediately!
Flau: I'll wait outside. Halo, come with me.
Amuro: What a nuisance!

Flau: Hayato.
Hayato: Hi, Flaubow.
Flau: You live next-door to Amuro. Why didn't you tell him about it?
Hayato: You mean the evacuation order?
Flau: Of course. He's living all alone.
Hayato: If military engineers like Amuro's father hadn't arrived here, we'd be safe...
Flau: You were forced to move from your old house when they build their research facilities. Are you still bitter about that?
Hayato: It's not that, but...
Hayato's mother: Hayato!
Hayato: Yes?
Hayato: See ya!
Flau: Amuro!
Flau: Amuro, you don't have good manners.

Flau: Is your father on the warship that's entering the port?
Amuro: I guess so. A week ago, he told me the ship would land on the earth.
Flau: Is our colony going to become a battlefield too?
Amuro: Hell if I know. My father tells me nothing at all.

Officer: All we need to do is to load the Gundam parts on the White Base.
Officer: Hurry up the work on the land!
Soldier: Yes, sir.
Officer: The White Base is being tailed by a Zeon ship. What tough luck.
Officer: Ohh, is this it?
Officer: Yes, sir.
Officer2: This powerful and new warship is what our Federation Military has been waiting for.
Officer2: When this ship and Gundam are finished, we'll be able to smash the Duchy of Zeon, no problem.

Bright: Message for Lieutenant Ray: We have arrived at Side 7.
Bright: Please come to the bridge immediately.
Ray: Right, understood.
Ray: Your name's Bright, correct?
Bright: Yes, sir
Ray: How many months have you been in the military?
Bright: 6 months, sir.
Ray: And you are 19 years old?
Bright: Yes, sir
Ray: When Gundam is put into the mass production, this war will end without young men like you having to take a part in actual war.
Bright: Is that your son, sir?
Ray: Yes. I've heard that children of this age are participating in guerilla warfare. Is that true?
Bright: Yes, it is a fact, sir.
Ray: It's awful, isn't it?

Captain: I appreciate your efforts, Lieutenant Ray.
Ray: So, we couldn't get away from that Zeon's ship after all.
Captain: Unfortunately, no.

Char: I'm quite unlucky, encountering such big game on our way back from the mission.
Char: Maybe they are luckier than us.
Dren: Yes, Major Char.
Dren: But, are you sure that the Federation's base for Operation V is located in such a remote area, sir?
Char: I'm certain it is.
Char: They may even be developing mobile suits superior to our own mobile suit, the Zaku.
Dren: That can't be true! In such a remote area...
Char: They're late.
Dren: It's coming.
Dren: It's code CC2.
Char: See? Just as I expected.
Dren: Then, is the Federation Military building its own mobile suits too?
Char: It's more precise to say that they have succeeded in developing them.

Denim: Yeah, the third one is also a mobile suit.
Denim: There might be another one in there.
Gene: We must destroy them now, sir.
Denim: No, our mission here is reconnaissance.
Gene: But, sir, if we allow that mobile suit to be placed on the enemy's battleship...
Denim: You won't get a medal. Don't rush.
Denim: Hey, Gene! What are you doing?
Gene: Major Char acquired his promotion...
Gene: ...by winning battles in the battlefield.
Denim: Wait, Gene!
Denim: You are going to violate our orders! Stop it, Gene!
Gene: Huh, once I succeed, they'll give me a promotion.
Gene: Heh, it's always best to defeat the enemy as quickly as possible.

Old man: It's close.
Woman: It must be a meteorite.
Amuro: This is the shock from an explosion.
Flau's Grandpa: It's the Zeon. It's a Zeon attack.
Flau: Amuro!
Amuro: I'm going to look for my father.
Grandpa: Amuro, you...
Man: Hey, you will cause trouble for everyone if you go outside.
Amuro: My father is an employee of the military. This emergency capsule won't last for long.
Amuro: I'll ask him to move us into the warship that arrived today.
Man: Hey, you!
Old man: Don't do it.
Amuro: Please close it after I go.
Woman: It's a Zeon mobile suit!
Amuro: So, this is a Zeon Zaku.
Officer: Hey, civilians must stay inside the emergency capsule!
Amuro: I'm looking for engineering officer, Tem Ray. Please tell me where he is.
Officer: Isn't he on the ship?
Officer: Okay, discharge the load.
Amuro: Look out!
Amuro: They... they're dead.
Amuro: A top-secret file?
Amuro: Is this a Federation Military mobile suit?

Slender: I was following my orders...
Char: Where's Master Sergeant Denim?
Slender: Yes, sir.
Slender: He is gone out to protect Gene, sir.
Char: Are you quite sure about the existence of the Federation Military mobile suit?
Slender: Yes, sir.
Char: Slender, take as many photographs as you can, and return to the ship if you are in danger.
Slender: Yes, sir.
Dren: What are you going to do?
Char: I'm disappointed that Denim could not handle a new soldier.
Char: I might even have to go out myself.
Char: Move our ship closer to Side 7.
Dren: Yes, sir.

People: Go to the port, hurry!
People: Run!
Amuro: The computer can manage the mobile suit's controls... An educable computer.
Amuro: This is incredible. No wonder Dad got so excited about this...
Flau: Amuro!
Flau: Amuro, what are you doing?
Retsu: Dammit!
Flau: Amuro...Amuro?
Ray: The lift inside should be working.
Amuro: Flaubow, you should go up to the port.
Flau: Amuro!
Flau's mother: Flau, hurry!
Flau: All right.
Amuro: Dad!
Ray: There should be a third lift.
Soldier: That lift is already full with evacuees, sir.
Amuro: Dad!
Ray: Gundam must go inside first, before the evacuees.
Ray: Bring it to the White Base and ready it for combat.
Soldier: Yes, sir.
Amuro: Dad!
Ray: Amuro?
Ray: Why aren't you evacuating?
Amuro: Dad, are mobile suits more important than human beings?
Ray: Hurry!
Amuro: Dad!
Ray: Get aboard on the White Base quickly.
Amuro: The White Base?
Ray: It's the warship in the port.
Ray: Why are you taking so long?
Soldier: The engine still isn't starting, sir.
Ray: Go to the White Base.
Ray: I'll find a tow car.
Amuro: Father!
Amuro: ...Is this the Federation Military's top-secret project?

Flau: Amuro, hurry!
Flau: Are you okay, Amuro?
Amuro: Flaubow!
Amuro: Flau, Flaubow!
Amuro: Flaubow, hang on!
Flau: Amuro...
Amuro: Can you stand?
Flau: Mom?
Flau: Grandpa?
Flau: Mom?
Flau: Mom!
Flau: Mom!!
Amuro: Flaubow, you'll be in danger, too.
Amuro: You have to escape, Flau.
Flau: Nooo!!
Amuro: Pull yourself together! I know you're strong girl!
Amuro: Now, run to the port. Can you run, Flaubow?
Amuro: I'll go soon after.
Amuro: Run!
Amuro: Run, Flaubow!
Amuro: Run, Flaubow...
Amuro: That's it, Flaubow. Keep going...

Amuro: This one is active...
Amuro: It's exactly the same. Is this it?
Amuro: This is incredible... It has five times more energy input...
Amuro: I'm going to give it a try.
Amuro: Is this all?
Amuro: This is it.
Amuro: I hope I'm in time.
Amuro: This is left and right.

Soldier: Quickly, get weapons!
Soldier: White Base, can you launch core fighters?
Soldier2: It's impossible to without opening the Side 7 entrance!
Captain: Have all the soldiers been deployed?
Officer: Yes, sir.
Officer: We have also sent our pilots to bring Gundam inside, sir.
Captain: I would never have imagined them attacking from inside Side 7.

Amuro: Get up...
Amuro: It's in front of us!
Amuro: Where are the weapons?
Gene: Master Sergeant Denim, the enemy's mobile suit has started to move!
Denim: What?!
Denim: I thought they were all just components...
Gene: No, wait, he still can't move well.
Gene: I'll destroy it, sir!
Amuro: It's coming!
Gene: What a mobile suit!
Gene: The rifle doesn't damage it at all.
Amuro: Watch this, Zaku!
Denim: Our mission is to scout.
Denim: Pull back, Gene!
Gene: What are you saying, sir? If we don't defeat them now, they'll be more...
Denim: Ah! It's standing up.
Amuro: Please, stand up!
Amuro: Come on!
Amuro: This is it!
Soldier: Chief, our mobile suit is moving.
Ray: Moving?
Ray: What a terrible attack!
Ray: Who's in the cockpit?
Amuro: No, it's out of ammo.
Gene: I must destroy it, even it has a thick armor plate...
Amuro: It's coming!
Gene: Heh, this mobile suit is frightened.
Gene: Aah!
Denim: Is this the power of Federation Military's mobile suit?
Amuro: Incredible...
Amuro: You're not gonna get away!
Amuro: Hasn't it got any other weapons?
Amuro: Where are they?
Amuro: Found it!
Denim: Gene, can you jump up to where Slender is?
Gene: My spare camera is still working, sir.
Gene: I jump now!
Amuro: I won't miss you!
Gene: Aaah!
Amuro: If I destroy that mobile's suits engine, Side 7 will be destroyed with it.
Amuro: What should I do?
Denim: How dare you! You killed Gene!
Amuro: What do I do?
Amuro: Can I strike its cockpit alone?
Amuro: If I let a Zaku explode again, the air inside Side 7 will be lost.

Bright: Let the civilians get onto the White Base, quickly.
Soldier: Yes, sir.
Soldier2: The outflow of the air has stopped, sir.
Bright: How's the transport of Gundam proceeding?
Soldier2: Because most of our engineers have been killed, our progress have been delayed, sir.
Bright: We must ask him to help us.
Soldier2: Hmm?
Bright: Even he is not one of our regular pilots, we need his help.
Amuro: What's going on?

Char: Where is Slender?
Dren: He has escaped from Side 7 and is returning to our ship, sir.
Char: I can hardly admit Gene's failure, on account of his adolescent behavior...

Narration: Char, who was lying in wait for the White Base to escape from Side 7, finally shows his ability as the Red Comet and closes in on Gundam.
Narration: It is going to be a fierce battle, which Char and Amuro experience for the first time.
Narration: Next time on Mobile Suit Gundam: "Gundam Destruction Order"
Narration: Can you survive, Amuro?

Song: Amuro, don't look back...
Song: There's a star shining far in the space
Song: Amuro, that's where you're born...
Song: Do you still remember? The days of your boyhood
Song: And the morning when you woke up in the warmth?
Song: Amuro, don't turn back, Amuro
Song: If you're a man, don't show your tears
Song: You simply walk toward tomorrow, forever
